As you enter the nursery...animal decals align the baseboard heading towards the ark. The walls were painted in a sea foam green and accented with horizontal jade green pearl stripes. This made the room visually look wider and taller by carrying the stripes up to the ceiling. (can be seen in other photos)

The side of the dresser also contains animal decals.

The furniture is painted in a two-tone black and brown with animal hardware. A custom cushion and pillow was made for the glider and glider ottoman. The mirror above the changing station has a ring of lights on a dimmer for accent lighting.

Custom built tree adorned with custom mirrored mobiles and maple leaves. Painted in a black magnetic chalkboard paint. The wall hanging (to right of crib) is a recycled oil drum lid hand carved into Noah's Ark. All the crib bedding was custom made. Print to the left of crib is of all the animals walking towards the ark.

Custom built ark. Contains 2 upper cabinets for storage. The bottom cabinet drops down for more storage. All cabinet doors contain animal hardware. The cushions can be removed to all the center wheel to drop down to provide a desk space for when Ayden gets older. The entire ark is painted in a magnetic chalkboard paint. The cushions and pillows were also custom made.

This was a DESIGNS DELIVERED project for a client in Florida. A previous post I shows what she received in her personal design kit. She has completed the room beautifully, with the guidance and suggestions I gave her.

The first photo is the sketch she received in her design kit of what the room could potentially look like. Looks like she went with most of my suggestions and did a great job putting it all together! Thank you for sending me the after photos!

This board shows options for paint, bedding, window treatments and an area rug option. The client let me know that she will be putting in med-light wood floor. She also had a piece of artwork that was used for an inspiration piece. This is where I pulled the accent wall color from. Two walls will be in a "fine wine" color and two walls will be in a crisp white. Her bedding repeats her artwork inspiration in piece in a much larger scale and ties in the accent wall color. For her area rug I suggested one that was in a different pattern and that would tie in all the colors from the bedding. For the window treatments I suggested a choc. brown sheer drape to bring in the richness from the dark wood tones. So, her overall color scheme is white, brown, and a deep red.

The overall look is fresh, vibrant, and clean!

This client contacted me and needed help transforming her guest bedroom into a space for guests and for her office. She wanted to use Ikea as her source for her office furniture. This really set the style for the space. Because Ikea's furniture is so simple and clean lines I went with a more contemporary feel. I chose to put her bed on the far wall because it is the longest wall and we want it to be the focal point of the room. Included with the floor plan is information letting her know where the items can be purchased, item description, quantity, size, finish, and price.

I LIKE TO REMIND ALL OF MY CLIENTS THAT THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS AND WHAT YOU RECEIVE SHOULD BE USED FOR GUIDANCE AND INSPIRATION TO CREATE YOUR DESIGN VISION!

Pictured here are her choices for her office furniture. She mentioned that she wanted most of her furniture to be finished in white. I have suggested that she combine the white finish with a darker wood tone to richen the space which is repeated on her bed wall.

Next, I have suggested the furniture pieces for her bed wall. She wanted a queen bed with storage on either side. So flanking the bed I suggested white bookcases which will have glass doors trimmed in a darker brown wood tone. Her headboard is also in the brown tones and provides more storage.

Color Transformation ReDesign

Unfortunately I don't have before pictures for this particular job. Because the client was so eager to begin she had everything out of the room so we could start with a blank slate. Just try to imagine this room with all WHITE walls and a different furniture arrangement. I helped this client with a new color palette as well as a new furniture layout using her existing furniture. We also rearranged her accessories and added a few new ones.

This guest room was definitely lacking some spice! Since the client already had the copper fabric accent pillows on their sofa we decided to play up the metallics! The rooms custom wall treatment consists of large overlapping squares in 4 different metallic colors. (copper, blue, gold, and pearl white). The metallic accents are repeated throughout the room with the accessories and the window treatment.

Before and After pictures of a guest bath redesign. This client was tired of the blue and wanted something more neutral with a little bling! Which is how I arrived at the concept "Icy Glitz". The tile in this bathroom needed to stay, so I still had to work with the blue tones in the tile, (see pics below) but toned it down by neutralizing the walls. Because the bathroom was so small I decided to paint the walls white to brighten the space and add horizontal metallic stripes to visually make the space appear larger. With a few key accessories it brought the whole bath together! See more pictures below!

Low Cost Dining Room Transformation

For under $1000.00 this dining was transformed from BLAH! to WOW!. With just a few changes: First the dining room chairs were replaced to carry in the red from the adjoining living room. The table base was primed and painted black to give it a more classic style. We updated the dated mirrored wall by framing it in a nice black molding accented by rosettes. To complete the look we changed out the light fixture to give a more whimsical feel.
